<p>As your site becomes more successful, there may also may be an increased risk of copycats or typo-squatters. With Domain Guard, you will be notified each time a new domain name similar to yours is registered, helping you protect your trademarks, copyrights, and brand. 
</p><p>Domain Guard allows a user to select a guard threshold for their domain (relaxed, average, or strict). Every day the Domain Guard system compares the domain against all domains registered on the previous day, and notifies the user if there are any domains that are similar to their guarded domain.<br />
</p><p>Domain Guard displays the following information:
</p>
<ul><li>Domain name being guarded
</li><li>Email address - notices are sent to this address
</li><li>Guard Threshold<b> </b>
</li><li>Number of sent notices and view option
</li><li>Add Domain options<br />

<h2> Adding a Domain </h2>
<p>Domain Monitor allows you to purchase additional Domain Monitor services from the Shop or Add Services page. <br />

<h2> Edting Domain, Email Address and Guard Threshold </h2>
<p>With Domain Monitor, you can edit a domain name or change the email address associated with a domain.<br />To change the Domain Name:
</p>
<ol><li>Click the <b>Settings</b> icon.
</li><li>Click <b>Edit Domain Name</b>.
</li><li>Modify name and click <b>Save</b>.
</li></ol>
<p>Note: If you change the domain name, all data for the current domain will be lost. The data for the new Monitored domain will be available upon the next scheduled domain check.<br />To change the Domain Name:
</p>
<ol><li>Click the <b>Settings</b> icon.
</li><li>Click Edit Email Address.
</li><li>Modify address and click <b>Save</b>.
</li></ol>
<p>To change the Guard Threshold:
</p>
<ol><li>Click the <b>Settings</b> icon.
</li><li>Click Edit Guard Threshold.
</li><li>Select <b>Average</b>, <b>Relaxed</b>, or <b>Strict</b>.
</li><li>Click <b>Save</b>.

<h2> Viewing Domain Guard Notices </h2>
<p>Domain Guard stores a list of all notices sent to the email address associated with the domain. You can open and read any of the messages in the list.<br />To view a message:

<ol><li>Click the message link.
</li><li>Once the message has been read, click <b>Close</b>.
