Archive manager is a tool for WebSite file backup that zips your html files to store as a backup in case of damage, loss or overwriting errors.

You can use this application to:

  1. Create a new archive by choosing a directory/folder from the appropriate drop-down menu, and pressing the "Create archive" button. This will create a new archive file in the parent directory of the one selected to be archived.
  2. Manage existing archives by choosing "an archive" from the drop-down menu in the "Manage archives" section and pressing the appropriate button. The "List" option is available for .zip archives only.

Note: Directories six or more levels deep and Archives over 40 MB will not be listed.

Create Archives

  1. Choose a directory/folder/file using drop-down list.
  2. Select a type of archive (zip / tar )
  3. Turn on radio button if you need to use a compression.
  4. Click the button “Create Archive” to complete the operation.

Note: Archiving can take several minutes, depending on number of files.

Extract / Manage Archives

You can use this application to extract and manage your archive (s)

  1. Select an archive from drop-down list
  2. In order to download, extract, list, delete or refresh selected archive, click respective button.
