The MediaWiki Installer was developed to automate the installation process of MediaWiki. MediaWiki is a powerful collaborative editing software, which provides advanced features, such as online editing of page content, allowing other users to edit the content, user management and image upload.

To Install MediaWiki:

  1. Click Install MediaWiki.
  2. Select a Database User and Database Name to manage.
  3. Select installation directory or create a new directory.
  4. Fill Administrator account settings.
  5. Enter MediaWiki title (optional) and select the enable file uploads checkbox , if required.
  6. Configure settings for anonymous user, if required.
  7. Click Next to complete the installation.
    Note: Your administrator username has to be longer than 3 characters and your password must be longer than 5 characters.


To Uninstall MediaWiki:

  • Click Uninstall MediaWiki.


To Launch MediaWiki:

  • Click Go to MediaWiki.
