Using the IP Blocker, you can protect your Website from being viewed from particular IP addresses. For example, if you are aware of any malicious visitors to your Website, you can use the IP Blocker tool to block their access.


To block an IP address:

  1. Click IP Blocker.
  2. Choose a location (within your /public directory ) that you would like to protect.
    Note: If you protect a certain web directory, all sub directories will inherit the same protection. For example, if you protect your main /public/ directory, your entire website will be protected from being viewed by a list of specific IP addresses.
  3. Enter the IP address you would like to block and click Add IP.
  4. If you need to block multiple IP addresses, click Add more IPs 
    The text field is expanded (You can enter more than one IP entry separated either by space, comma or ';' sign).
    Note: You can specify either full IP addresses, or partial networks.
    Example:
    10.10.1 – will block the entire network 10.10.1.x
    10.10.1.5 – will block this particular IP address
  5. Click Protect Location
    The specified IP addresses will not be able to access your Website.
  6. You can also use the Manage Protected Locations option to block additional IP addresses or to remove already blocked IPs.
