Overview

Domain Monitor allows you to monitor the daily status of any domain, as well as, receive daily email alerts when one or more of your domains changes its status. Email alerts are sent when changes occur on one of the domains you are monitoring.
Note: Supported TLDs are: .com, .net.

Domain Monitor includes:

  • A list of Domains being monitored, including registrar and expiry date
  • Associated Email address - alerts are sent to this address
  • BUY option for domains that are not registered
  • View options for alert notices

Adding a Domain

Domain Monitor allows you to purchase additional Domain Monitor services from the Shop or Add Services page. 

Edting Domain and Email Address Information

With Domain Monitor, you can edit a domain name or change the email address associated with a domain.

To change the Domain Name:

  1. Click the Settings icon.
  2. Click Edit Domain Name.
  3. Modify name and click Save.

Note: If you change the domain name, all data for the current domain will be lost. The data for the new Monitored domain will be available upon the next scheduled domain check.

To change the Domain Name:

  1. Click the Settings icon.
  2. Click Edit Email Address.
  3. Modify address and click Save.

Viewing Domain Details

Clicking on the domain name opens a domain-specific detail page, which displays domain details and a list of notices sent out for that domain.

You can view the following details:

  • Domain name
    • Click Change Settings to modify.
  • Last Checked On date (last time the system received updated info about the domain)
  • Last Updated (from WhoIs record, last updated date)
  • Current registrar
    • If the domain is available for purchase, a buy now button is displayed. 
  • Expiry date
  • Registry status
  • NameServers
  • Email address
    • Click Change Settings to modify.

Viewing Domain Notices

When viewing the Domain Monitor details, users will have the ability to view all of the Domain Monitor notices that have been previously emailed to them.

To view a message:

  1. Click the message link.
  2. Once the message has been read, click Close.

Clicking the subject line of the message will bring the message in a popup overlay.
