Overview

The MSSQL Manager application allows you to manage imports and exports for existing Microsoft SQL Server databases.

If you do not already have a database you may request to create one by submitting a ticket using the "Create New Ticket" tool. When submitting the ticket please specify database name, username and password.

To launch the MSSQL application:

  1. On the Start Services page, click Advanced Tools.
  1. On the Advanced Tools page, click MSSQL Manager.

MSSQL Database

The MSSQL Database page, allow you to add a database and view the details of existing databases.

To add a database:

  1. On the Main Menu page, click MSSQL Database.
  2. On the MSSQL database manager page, click Add new MSSQL database.

Manage Backups

The Manage Backups page allows you to backup your data and restore it to an existing database.

Restore

To restore a file or database:

  1. On Main Menu page, click Manage Backups.
  2. On the Manage Backups page, select the database from the drop-down.
  3. Click the file name that you want to restore from the Select file for restore list.

Import

To Import a database:

  1. On the Main Menu page, click Manage Backups.
  2. On the Manage Backups page, click Import.
  3. In the Upload from computer field, click Browse.

Export

To export a database:

  1. Select a database from the left panel.
  2. Click Apply. The files are displayed in the Select file to download list..
  3. Click on the download icon corresponding to the file you would like to download.
  4. A pop-up dialog will prompt you to select whether you would like to save the file or open it.
  5. Do one of the following:
    To save the file on your computer, click Save.
    To open the file without saving it, click Open.
  6. Click OK.

Security

The Security page allows you to add your IP address or a range of IP addresses to the list of the allowed IP addresses.
