Overview

HTML Editor is a lightweight text editor to be used in web pages. It provides most of the commonly used functions from desktop editors like Word to the web. By using HTML Editor you can write text, format text, create tables and much more.


Create a new HTML Page

  1. Select New from the menu at the top.
  2. Create your page by adding text, tables, images, etc.
  3. When you are done, select Save As.
  4. Type the name that you want for your file (Note: that you need to use the .htm or .html extension for all files that you want to allow users to view).
  5. Click Save to make the changes permanent.


Update/Edit an already Existing HTML page

  1. Select Open from the menu at the top.
  2. Locate and click on the file you wish to edit using the directory list.
  3. Make any necessary changes to your page.
  4. When you are done, select Save to make your changes permanent.


Using HTML Editor you Can

  • Change the style of the text to bold, italic, or underline.
  • Change the color of the text or the area around the text.
  • Select a different font or type size.
  • Insert numbered and bulleted lists.
  • Change the alignment of the text.
  • Insert hyperlinks.
  • Insert and edit images.
  • Insert and edit flash.
  • Insert and edit anchor.


Using the interface of HTML Editor you can upload files to the server. In order to upload file(s), click Browse, select a file and click the Upload button.

Note: You can only upload HTML documents, Flash files and Images. Files will be uploaded to the Public folder.
